The Process
Site Inspections (once off)
A site Inspection is probably the most important step to take when considering to ownership of a Butterfly Sanctuary or Lepidome, Butterfly Garden, Butterfly Farm, Independent Butterfly Breeding Station (IBBS), and/or a Provincial Butterfly Breeding Center (PBBC). The Site inspection will provide you with a report on:
i. What butterfly species you can have
ii. What plants are needed
iii. Is the area intended suitable for your intended project
iv. Is the soil and water conditions sufficient to sustain your butterflies
v. It also informs you of the correct development of its environment, ecosystems and habitats
vi. It provides recommendations to improve the intended project
Without the Site Inspection, you are fishing in the dark.

Host plants
The introduction of host plants to the correct allocated areas within the project is rather important as the will determine the ecosystems and habitats within the environment desired. This is beneficial to the butterflies as they have certain requirements to enhance their longevity and performances.
